West Texas takes hail, and not every dent matters.
A dent in the flat field of a panel, away from hinges and track, is usually cosmetic and the door keeps working. A dent that reaches a hinge line, deforms a panel edge or bows a section changes how the door folds and will start binding. Photograph the door straight on before the season so you have a documented before, and after an event photograph each damaged area with something for scale plus the data plate inside the top panel.
