November: The Pre-Winter Check
Short winters here, but the check still earns its place.
Balance test and spring inspection, because the daily thermal cycling has been working on the springs all year regardless of the mild winter. Clean the lint and dust out of the track after harvest. Replace a seal that no longer springs back, because a hardened seal will not keep sand out any better than it keeps cold out. Confirm the safety reversal works with a solid object under the door.
