Brands we service in the Lubbock Metro
Brand matters more than people expect. It decides which parts are stocked locally, whether a logic board is worth replacing or the whole opener should be swapped, and whether a manufacturer warranty is still live. If you do not know the brand, it is usually printed on the opener motor housing or inside the top panel of the door.
LiftMaster
The most common opener on the newer Wolfforth and south-west Lubbock builds. Logic board failure after a spring storm run is a recurring seasonal pattern across the metro.
Chamberlain
Mechanically close to LiftMaster and shares many parts. Very common on 1995 to 2015 subdivision homes along the Quaker corridor.
Genie
Both screw-drive and belt-drive units are widespread. Screw drives are the ones that suffer here, because dust settles on the rail and a tacky lubricant turns it into grinding paste rather than protection.
Clopay
One of the most widely installed door brands in West Texas, and section availability is generally good - which matters after hail, because a single-panel repair is often viable where a discontinued profile would mean a whole door.
Amarr
Frequently specified on builder-grade installs across the newer south-west subdivisions. Hardware is serviceable and sections are generally available.
Wayne Dalton
Notable for the TorqueMaster spring system, which fails invisibly inside its tube with no broken coil to see. Regularly misdiagnosed as an opener fault on older Lubbock installs.
