Openers are a fifteen-year item, and here they are as likely to be finished by dust in the mechanism as by age.
Why contamination beats wear as a cause
A large share of the calls we run in this city are dust or lint rather than a fault: a filmed photo-eye lens, a packed seal line, sand in the bottom track.
